Terms and Conditions
Terms & Conditions: Essential Information
If you’re considering permanent makeup, it's important to be aware of certain contraindications that may prevent us from proceeding with your treatment:
- Individuals under 18 years of age
- Those with diabetes
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- Current users of retinol
- Individuals with glaucoma or those on blood thinners (e.g., aspirin, warfarin)
- People with skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, or undiagnosed rashes/blisters in the treatment area
- Those with heart conditions or on medications such as aspirin, warfarin, Vitamin E, St. John's Wort, steroids, or other cardiac drugs (including ACE inhibitors, aldosterone inhibitors, ARBs, beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, digoxin, inotropic therapy, or vasodilators)
- Individuals allergic to makeup or pigments
- Those prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
- Individuals with transmissible blood conditions (e.g., HIV, hepatitis)
- Active skin cancer in the treatment area
- Hemophiliacs
- Those with healing disorders, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or a history of mitral valve disorders
- Past users of skin medications like Accutane, Antasone, or steroids within the last six months
- Individuals undergoing or recently completed (within 42 days) radiotherapy or chemotherapy
- Epileptics who have had a seizure in the last two years
Please inform us of any allergic reactions you may have had to topical anesthetics.
A sensitivity patch test is available for all new clients. It should be conducted at least two hours before your scheduled appointment. If you prefer to forgo the patch test, you can sign a waiver that releases the therapist from liability for any allergic reactions to the pigment or products used.
Do keep in mind that some needles and pigments may contain traces of nickel, which could affect those with nickel allergies. The sensitivity patch test may not conclusively indicate an allergy to nickel or a reaction to the treatment products.
Booking Fee Policy
A Booking Fee is required to secure your appointment. This fee will be applied to the total cost of your treatment.
- The Booking Fee is non-refundable if you cancel or reschedule less than 7 days before your appointment. In such cases, the fee will not be applied to any new appointment.
- The Booking Fee is also non-refundable for no-shows. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the practitioner will decide whether to proceed with your treatment. Arriving over 30 minutes late will result in the loss of your Booking Fee, and you will need to rebook and pay a new Booking Fee.
Please arrive on time for both paid and complimentary appointments, as late arrivals can disrupt the schedule for subsequent clients. We appreciate your professionalism and respect for our time.
Photography and Social Media
We will take pictures and videos during your procedure for reference. These may be used by LuxeLine for marketing purposes on social media and our website. Filming for personal blogs is not permitted without prior arrangement.
Complimentary Touch-Up Treatment
A complimentary touch-up session is included with new treatments and should be scheduled within 4 to 8 weeks of the initial treatment on weekdays only. It is your responsibility to book this session with sufficient notice to allow the therapist to fit you into their schedule. Failure to do so may incur a charge for the touch-up.
Please note that rescheduling the complimentary touch-up within the 8-week period is not guaranteed. Our complimentary treatment is a goodwill gesture, and we reserve the right to revoke it if affected by unauthorized service providers or at the technician's discretion.
In case of rescheduling by LuxeLine due to booking alterations or cancellations, clients will be notified prior to their original appointment time. Approval from the client is required for any changes to the date and time.
Each new treatment includes one session followed by a complimentary treatment. The initial procedure is the first session, while the complimentary session is intended to address any areas that may not have taken properly. The second session is not for altering shape or color; if you wish to make changes, additional charges will apply. Occasionally, a third session may be necessary for clients with skin types resistant to pigment implantation or due to improper aftercare, and charges will be incurred as per our pricing list.
Returning clients seeking brow touch-ups will not receive a complimentary session.
The payment you make covers only the initial treatment and does not automatically entitle you to a complimentary session. Follow-up treatments are considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the technician who performed the initial treatment.
Failure to attend your booked appointment will result in penalties for future bookings. This applies to clients who arrive late, do not show up, or fail to provide adequate notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Permanent Makeup Limitations
Permanent makeup may not be suitable for everyone, and we cannot guarantee perfect results for all clients, especially those with problematic skin. We do not offer refunds, as we incur costs for the treatment. Furthermore, complete symmetry cannot be guaranteed; brow designs are determined using classic measurements and the Golden Ratio customized for each client.
Other Contraindications
- AHA’s (lactic, glycolic, citric, retinoic, and tartaric acids) or any OTC creams for tone correction, anti-aging, exfoliation, or fading can discolor your permanent makeup.
- If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, please reschedule your appointment.
- Those on Coumadin may experience excessive bleeding, affecting the procedure's effectiveness.
- Doctor's clearance may be required for certain health conditions necessitating medication.
- After laser eye surgery, you must wait a minimum of 3 months for eyeliner procedures; other permanent makeup procedures are acceptable sooner.
- For fillers and Botox, please wait at least 2 weeks after booking any PMU; alternatively, injectables can be done one week after PMU.
- If you have shingles on your face, wait several months before getting permanent makeup.
- After eyelift or blepharoplasty, please wait a minimum of 3 months.
- Eyelash extensions should be done after permanent makeup, not before, or removed before the eye procedure.
- If you have pinkeye, wait until the infection has cleared and medication is complete.
- Clients with the Herpes Simplex virus must take antiviral medication before lip procedures, as prescribed by a doctor.
