LuxeLine Permanent Cosmetic Treatments
Achieving the perfect look with our permanent cosmetic treatments often requires multiple sessions. For optimal results, plan to return for a touch-up treatment between four to eight weeks after your initial session.
What to Expect:
Be prepared for the color to appear significantly sharper and darker right after the treatment. This intensity will gradually fade as the tissue heals, which can take up to 10 days.
*Important Guidelines for Your Treatment:
✔ Please consider that the delicate skin in the treatment area may be swollen or red, so plan your social engagements accordingly.
✔ If it makes you more comfortable, feel free to wear your regular makeup to the salon. We will remove any makeup from the treatment area upon your arrival as part of our preparation process.
✔ A sensitivity patch test is available—please refer to our Terms and Conditions for details, or you can sign a waiver on the day of your treatment.
✘ Avoid taking aspirin, ibuprofen, or coumadin for two days before and after your treatment. Always consult your doctor before discontinuing any medication.
✘ Refrain from consuming alcohol the night before your appointment.
Eyebrow Treatments:
✔ Waxing should be done at least 48 hours prior to your treatment, while electrolysis should be performed no less than five days before your session.
✔ Threading is acceptable, but we recommend allowing natural hair growth for the best results.
✔ Please avoid eyebrow tinting for two weeks leading up to your treatment.
Eye Treatments:
✔ Schedule any eyelash tinting or perming for at least one week before or two weeks after your treatment.
✔ Expect some swelling; we advise having someone available to drive you home as a safety precaution.
✘ Do not wear contact lenses for the duration of the treatment and immediately following it. Remember to bring your glasses. You can resume wearing contacts once your eyes feel comfortable, usually around 24 hours post-treatment.
✘ Please do not wear false lashes or lash extensions, as the procedure may dislodge or remove them. We cannot proceed with your treatment if you arrive wearing them.
Lip Contour:
✔ Bring a lip lining pencil or lipstick that matches your desired color tint.
✔ If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex), we recommend consulting your doctor about obtaining medication to prevent outbreaks.
✔ Alternatively, consider acquiring herpes medication, such as Zovirax, from your local pharmacy and use it one week before and one week after your treatment to help minimize the risk of an outbreak.
✔ While our treatments do not cause cold sores, they can trigger an outbreak if the virus is dormant in your body.
✘ Avoid lip waxing or bleaching treatments for at least two weeks before your permanent cosmetic procedure.
✘ If you've had Juvederm or other lip fillers, please get clearance from your Juvederm technician and ensure a minimum gap of four weeks before our lip treatment or eight weeks afterward.
Beauty Spots:
✔ Natural beauty spots are rarely perfectly round. We advise against creating a perfectly round spot, as it may not appear natural.
